Artists Statement

For me, being a Nasty Woman is having the confidence to question the current, reflect on the past and demand for the future. I find the nature of modern femininity to be intrinsically fluid, which is celebrated in both my process and content. The physicality of my work is delicate, I suggest movement through mark-making which optimizes the sensation of liquidity and ooze alongside the sensual colour palette and the inherent complexity of the detail.
